Advocaat Trump te zien in nieuwste Borat-film (en heeft níet bepaald een glansrol)

Vrijdag komt ‘Borat: Subsequent Moviefilm’ uit. En dat zorgt voor gedoe, want Trumps advocaat en voormalige burgemeester van New York Rudy Giuliani is in de film te zien. Dat schrijft ‘Metro’.

De man laat zijn hand in zijn broek glijden als hij in een hotelkamer is samen met een, zo denkt hij, vijftienjarig meisje.

Borat

Sacha Baron Cohen speelt in de nepdocumentaire een reporter uit Kazachstan in het vervolg op de eerste Borat-film uit 2006. Enkel de kleine crew en cast om Cohen heen weet dat Borat een fictief figuur is. Giuliani weet dit dus niet.

In de film is ook een actrice te zien die de vijftienjarige dochter van Borat speelt. Zij interviewt Giuliani over de Amerikaanse aanpak van het coronavirus.

Rudy Giuliani

Na het interview gaan de twee naar een hotelkamer waar ze hun geluidsapparatuur af doen. Te zien is hoe de advocaat, terwijl hij op bed ligt, zijn hand in zijn broek stopt. Zelf laat hij weten dat hij zijn overhemd in zijn broek stak. Hij zou de politie hebben ingeschakeld toen hij erachter kwam dat het niet om een echt interview ging. De actie is volgens hem bedoeld om de kansen van de Amerikaanse presidentskandidaat Joe Biden te vergroten.

De film, die voluit Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery Of Prodigious Bribe To American Regime For Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation Of Kazakhstan heet, is vanaf vrijdag te zien op Amazon Prime Video.
